RELEASE: Accessibility Anywhere brought to you by ! Serotek
Atlanta, Georgia July 29, 2013On August 6th at 8:00 PM Eastern, Fedora Outlier’s #AccessChat will host the elite and creative group of people known as Serotek. A few of the topics being discussed that evening will be the ever popular Accessibility Anywhere service that allows the user to access various social networking platforms, scan and read important documents from any location and much more. A few other topics that evening will be Serotek’s System Access Mobile Network otherwise known as SAMNet, iBlink and the future of accessible technology.

The Serotek Corporation was formed in 2001 by Mike Calvo. Calvo, blind from birth, experienced first-hand the difficulty in pursuing career opportunities for individuals with a disability. Calvo would launch his first business, a recording studio, at age 18 and would later master the computer, allowing him to teach employers and the blindness community how accessible technology could create employment and enrich lives. Calvo’s determination to empower others and his vision to provide affordable and accessible products and services to the blind, whatever their skill level may be, led him to create Serotek.

The Serotek team understands the challenges and frustration of the blind consumer and goes above and beyond to provide adaptive, enlightening and knowledgeable resources for the beginner to the novice computer user.

In addition to the conversation with Serotek, there will be a giveaway of two 1-month subscriptions to Accessibility Anywhere, a very popular service from Serotek that offers the productivity of three different types of apps for the blind user.

Participants are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes before the chat begins, as there will be casual conversation and announcements before the interview with Serotek.
