Sleep Genius For iPHone – Old Hat App Review.

Posted in Apple Inc

Are you sleep deprived? Do you have a bad case of brain-fog and are you sleepy all the time? Is it because you just can’t fall asleep without medication? Well, there is an app for that.

Seth Horowitz, Ph.D, a Neuroscientist and NASA Funded Sleep Researcher says Sleep Genius is “based on the principles of neuroscience. It engages the auditory system, vestibular system, and the brain’s arousal system to improve sleep regulation”. There are several choices of music types that are designed specifically for your needs. There are alarms that will wake you up gently and settings for power napping. This app is truly becoming part of my tool kit for those sleepless nights.

Our Review

The Sleep Genius app is somewhat challenging to figure out at first but if you have trouble sleeping like I do, you will be motivated to check it out. It took a long time to download and some of the buttons are not labeled. I confess that I had my husband look at the screen so I could understand the layout better. I have used it to wake me up gently and for going to sleep. The app worked better after I restarted my phone. For me, it has become an important addition to my app toolbox.
