He’s completely blind, works on the Apple Store floor and continues to change the world

Tamer has been working for Apple on the store floor for over two months now. I’m wondering why I’m the last person she called. LOL

She’s completely blind.

She get’s to change the world by making the store accessible for every blind person who wants to work at Apple.

She not only got her technology teaching from Fedora Outlier LLC, but we helped her to be more empowered, we encouraged her and together we banded together to change the world.

Here’s a 17 minute call we had, where she broke the news to me.

My wife asked me if I cried, friends asked if I cried and just in case you are wondering…

Yes, I cried….

I love helping the disabled find or create work that is meaningful, purposeful and profitable!!!

Voicing My Opinion On Blind Photography

How can you take a picture if you are blind? How do you know what you are aiming at? Does the phones camera tell you what you are shooting? All of these questions come up when a totally blind person is taking pictures. I recently fell in love with an app that not only takes pictures, but it solves one of my problems with taking pictures and labeling them correctly.

Look Ma, No Typing!

When you think of texting, filling in other text fields, or composing emails on your iPhone, does anything come to mind?

There I was back in October with my brand new, first day it came out, 64 GB white iPhone 4S. All those terrific features they talked about, and I was holding them in my hand! I began to explore, and it didn’t take me long to figure out my absolute favorite one.

Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple Inc. had this to say to us, the developers and his company at the end of the keynote address at this years Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) “Only Apple could make such amazing hardware, software and services. We are so proud of these products as they are perfect examples of what Apple does best and ultimately its why people choose to come to work at Apple and with Apple. To do the very best work of their lives. To create products that empower people to do great things. To make a difference in the lives of so many people around the world. The products we make, combined with the apps that you create can fundamentally change the world and really I can’t think of a better reason of getting up in the morning.”
